Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter even though we were stuck at home with sinus infections :( We were contagious and definitely could not go around my dad with his chemo treatments and all :(

You couldn't tell it from these pictures, but the boys all had a great time finding their baskets the Easter Bunny left them and hunting eggs.

Hope everybunny had a Hoppy Easter too!

It's baseball time again! :)
Bennie is now in what they call Machine Pitch or Prep.
He graduated from T-Ball and has moved up :)
Now he has to hit off a machine pitched ball going 40 mph!
We now have a batting cage with a pitching machine at our house :) So, he gets alot of practice. Plus, with Randy being the coach, we are able to have the team over weekly to practice :)
He now plays for the Padres and had his game opener last Saturday!
He got a hit and made it around the bases to provide a point for his team. Unfortunately, it did not count because his teamate slid into first base (when they had 2 outs already)and that is a no-no.
But it did not matter to us! WE are SO proud of our Bennie! He has such a big heart and plays with all of it!
That day, our Bennie was 10 foot tall and bullet proof! :)

Spring Break 2012

Spring break was so fun this year with the twins being older now and able to do LOTS with Bennie :)
We went as a family camping to the Matagorda Bay Nature Park. It is a really nice park for camping at the beach!
Grant & Dylan went to the beach last June but were just to little to really enjoy it. This time...much different! Grant, our reserved one, was very cautious and liked to sit right where the water met the sand :) Dylan, on the other hand, would run all the way out to the shrimp boats in the gulf if you let him! :)
Ben had fun as usual. He is a natural beach-bum! :) His favorite is to run and try to jump the waves.
